About MSAF Garden

Everything we know about farms,
shrunk to spoon size.

MSAF Garden is the home-gardening arm of MSAF Bio Organics Pvt Ltd — the same formulations Indian farms have trusted for thirteen years, packed for pots and written in doses you can measure with a spoon.

Our story

We were making this for farms long before you had a balcony.

MSAF Garden is the home-gardening arm of MSAF Bio Organics Pvt Ltd — a company that has spent thirteen years supplying organic plant nutrition to Indian farms. Bulk bags. Field doses. An agronomist on the other end of the phone.

Then people started buying our farm packs for four pots on a terrace. And every single one of them wrote in to ask the same question: how much do I actually use? Nobody had written that answer down, because on a farm you never need it — you measure in kilograms per acre and you have someone to ring.

MSAF Garden exists to answer that question properly. Same formulations, same facility, same discipline — packed in sizes a home actually gets through, and written in a dose a home can actually measure. Spoons, not kilograms.

A farm has an agronomist. A balcony has you, a phone, and a plant that's going yellow. We decided that shouldn't be a disadvantage.

How it is actually made

We don't buy it in and put our name on it.

Most of what is sold to home gardeners in India is bought by the tonne, tipped into smaller bags and printed with a nice leaf. That is a packing business, not a manufacturing one — and it is why so few packs will tell you what is inside them. Ours are made, tested and packed by the same company that has been formulating for Indian farms thirteen years.

Step one

Formulated in our own facility

The same formulations that go out to farms, made on our own line — not commissioned, not bought in, not repacked.

Step two

Every batch tested in our own lab

Testing happens in-house, batch by batch, before anything is packed. A batch that does not meet spec does not go into a bag.

Step three

Composition printed on the pack

Because we made it and tested it, we can print exactly what is in it. If we are not willing to print what is inside, we do not sell it.

What we're actually trying to do

Make feeding a plant a decision, not a gamble.

Almost everyone who gives up on gardening gives up at the same moment — the plant looked wrong, nobody could say why, and the shelf offered forty bottles with no instructions on any of them. We are trying to delete that moment from Indian home gardening. One symptom, one answer, one dose you can measure with a spoon.

Growing together

Women at the heart of it

Most of the home gardens we hear from are run by women — and so is a good part of our own operation. That isn't a slogan on a page; it shows up in who packs, who checks, and who answers when you write in.

Livelihood, skilling and income opportunities for women in our packing, quality and support teams
Encouraging women to run their own home and terrace gardens, at whatever scale suits them
A community where women growers teach each other more than any label ever could
What we stand for

Four rules we don't bend

👶

Safe to grow food in

Organic and non-toxic. The soil your tomatoes come out of is the soil your kids dig in.

🏭

Formulated, not repacked

Made in our own facility, to the spec Indian farms have been buying thirteen years.

🔍

Nothing hidden

Composition printed on the pack. If we won't print what's inside, we won't sell it.

🥄

Dosed for pots

Spoons and litres, not kilograms per acre. Written where you can actually find it.
